In celebration of 100 years of Davis cityhood, a bronze seal has been commissioned to commemorate the city’s history and its place in the region. The 7-foot diameter seal will be installed in the plaza in front of the historic Hunt-Boyer Mansion in downtown Davis.
A CITY IS ITS CITIZENS, PAST AND PRESENT
As part of the landscaping surrounding the Davis Centennial Seal, the soon-to-be renovated plaza will include bricks to be inscribed with names commemorating Davis citizens whose contributions, large and small, past and present, have been, and continue to be, essential to the foundation and building of our city and our community.
